Summer Bright Ale

Ok all my beer lovers,  We all like to enjoy a nice cold one in the summer.  I decided why not switch it up a bit and try something different.  This beer from Breckenridge Brewery in Denver, Colorado, called Summer Bright Ale, has a light wheat, very citrusy taste to it, with the smell of lemon and orange peel.   There is also not a hop to it.   There is nothing strong, it stays on the palette at times and may taste even a little watery.  I wasn’t too impressed by this beer, but will give Breckenridge Brewery another try with one of their different beers.   I give this a 5 out of 10.  Not really sure what I would pair this beer with because of its watery taste.

  1. Thanks for giving an honest review, as usual! I enjoy citrus-y summer brews, but I think I like a bit more body than this would seem to have. BTW, I nominated you for a blogging award! Check it out here… http://squirrelcircus.wordpress.com/2012/08/07/liebster-love/
