A childhood favorite sandwich is now a pancake and it’s Oh so good. This will take those boring standards to a whole other level. These pancakes are light and fluffy. The taste is every peanut butter lovers dream. You can also replace the jelly with bananas.
Peanut butter and Jelly Pancakes
Ingredients:
3/4 cup peanut flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour or all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
Melted peanut butter, optional for drizzle
Melted jam, optional for drizzle
Preparation:
Stir together the peanut flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, until well combined.
Next add wet ingredients milk and egg. Mix all of the ingredients until well incorporated.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Spoon pancake batter by the quarter cup onto hot skillet and cook, 2 minutes per side.
Serve with peanut butter and jelly
