A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to take my family up to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. My kids and I have never been there, so my husband was excited to take us and share all the history as he researched for his next novel. We got to stay at The Gettysburg Hotel which was a hospital during the war. Creepy I know.

The hotel was in the perfect location right in the heart of Gettysburg town. There are tons of shops and restaurants all around. The hotel even had its own restaurant called One Lincoln where we enjoyed dinner that night. I’ll share more of that on a second post. Anyway back to the hotel we had a 2 queen bed room. It had a modern look and the perfect view of the town. The hotel also had a Starbucks and a small rooftop pool.
