2018 Mazda 6

Today I guess is a day full of Mazda reviews just for you. The 2018 Mazda 6 has to be my favorite from the line.  It’s such a stylish vehicle in my opinion. As some of you may know I am an extra on the new Creed 2 movie coming out in November.  About 3 weeks ago I was on set for a whole week going back in forth to my house and the studio.

It was a lot of late nights and early mornings and I have to say that the Mazda 6 really gave me the comfort in needed for the commute. I even had lunch in the car a couple of times with the sunroof open. It’s my husband’s favorite car as well. You can’t go wrong with the room, comfort and safety this car brings.

I remember a couple of people on set asking me which Mazda type this was and they thought it was such a sharp looking car. I don’t want to keep rambling about the same things, but this is up there with some high quality ones in my opinion.  This was perfect for my family of 4 with plenty of room for the kids and great trunk space.

2018 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring AWD

470F356A-0E47-4E71-8A20-D767BCD89C6D

Back in March I had the opportunity to try out the . I thought that I had this review ready for you guys but it seems as though my computer decided not to save my work. So here goes.

I had a couple of family gatherings which meant a lot of grocery shopping & picking up all those party needs.  The Mazda CX-3 only had a limited amount of space for all my goodies and the kids. Keep in mind this is a smaller SUV. It has a pretty cool look but has small headquarters where you feel closed in. The seats are always comfortable which makes up for the lack of space. No one wants to be in a small cabin and not have comfortable seats. If you are looking for a smaller SUV with pretty decent gas mileage this may be the car for you.

2017 Mazda CX-9

The last 2 weeks have been insanely busy.  We traveled to New York City and had an amazing time.  Traveling with kids of course you always want comfort and space.  We were lucky enough to have the 2017 Mazda CX-9 for this trip.  It made two hours feel like half that amount of time.  Traveling in NYC can sometimes be a headache dealing with the traffic, but it wasn’t too bad this time around because we went on a Sunday and stayed overnight.  After NYC we came back to reality.
Heading to dance class with my daughter, and baseball with my son is only part of the back and forth we do on a weekly basis.  Having the CX-9 was great because of all the storage space for those dance and baseball bags.  Carpooling for my daughter and some of her dance friends worked out great too because the CX-9 has 3 rows of seating.  The sunroof was the perfect touch, since it was quite warm on a couple of those days.
Saying goodbye to the CX-9 was tough.  I’m such a fan of SUVs and had to go back to a mini van, which isn’t bad but the CX-9 provided us with that mini van accommodation and relaxing feel.
Some awesome features on the 2017 CX-9 include:
LED Headlights with auto off and auto height control
LED Daytime Running Lights
LED Combination taillights
Three-zone automatic climate control with pollen filter (which was great for my son who has allergies)
Front door courtesy lamps
Remote keyless illuminated entry system with “answer back” feature
Push Button Start
Front door pocket illumination
Tilt & telescopic steering column
12-volt power outlets (1 front/1 cargo area)
Rear window defogger with timer
7-passenger seating capacity
2nd-row seats with tilt and slide 3rd-row access
And so much more. Visit https://www.mazdausa.com/ for more information.

2016 Mazda CX 5

untitled

The Mazda CX 5 is a perfect little crossover, offering a great drive and comfort.  Mazda CX 5 receives several improvements intended to refine its appearance, enhance its functionality, update its technology, and polish its driving dynamics.

After a week of running around to taking my kids to school and to after school activities I can see why Mazda is popular with families.  It’s convenient interior space, and comfortable seating alone makes it worth while, but the overall package is amazing as well.

The interior of the 2016 Mazda CX-5 is designed for both functionality and modern style. Front seats are roomy enough to make any driving position easy to settle into with plenty of support. The backseat is spacious for passengers. On models equipped with a folding seatback, the mechanism lowers the seat bottom before the seat itself folds to provide a floor that is as near to flat as possible for your cargo needs.
Available features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, a Mazda Connect infotainment system with a 7-inch touch-screen display, satellite radio, navigation, a power moonroof, a rearview camera, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control and low-speed automatic braking with forward collision warning.

Gas mileage manages 24 mpg city, 30 highway with all-wheel drive.
All in all this is a great crossover.  I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

2017 Mazda 6

Here’s another great car addition to my review list. When you have to be on the road for either work or pleasure, I think the 2017 Mazda 6 can provide that. Comfortable seating and roomie interior is key to an enjoyable drive. As a family of 4 we really enjoyed this sedan.
Mazda now offers SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control, to help achieve a smoother, less fatiguing drive. When cornering, on initial turn-in and throughout, the system works seamlessly by adjusting power delivery and shifting vehicle weight.

Its style gives it a sleek appearance and the strong engine gives a sporty feel. The 2017 Mazda 6 is a midsize sedan with seating for five.
Standard features for the Sport trim include: 17-inch alloy wheels, remote keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, full power accessories, air-conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, cloth upholstery, six-way manually adjustable front seats with lumbar support for the driver, 60/40-split folding rear seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth phone and streaming audio, a rearview camera, the Mazda Connect infotainment system with voice control, text messaging capabilities, a 7-inch touchscreen and a six-speaker CD player with auxiliary/USB input, HD radio and internet streaming radio.

The EPA estimates fuel economy at 28 mpg combined (24 city/34 highway) for models with the manual transmission. The Mazda 6 has strong safety ratings in all forms. Making it a safe ride for the family.

All in all I give this an 8 out of 10. Visit https://www.mazdausa.com for more details.

2016 Mazda 6 i Touring

0bb44450-a1a2-4221-b35b-82400cb880dd

I had a ton of running around this week from meetings, events and taking the kids to school, so I was excited to try out the Mazda 6 i grand touring.  It provided me with everything you would need in a mid size car.

This was such a fun vehicle to drive. I was also very impressed with the gas mileage this car got. I ran around the with car all week and all over the place and by the end of the week I still had a 1/4 tank left. The kids loved the sunroof and all the leg room they had. The feature my husband and I agreed on that was total genius is the console-area knob that can control the 7 inch touch screen making it so much easier to control the radio and functions.

Another great feature is a head-up screen called an Active Driving Display. It sits directly in front of the driver, showing you the speed. Driving in the city with this car was great.  The back up camera totally helped when parking in the city. I can’t wait to try other Mazda’s. If you’re looking for a sedan for your family this car is perfect; or if you’re looking for a sporty good looking car this is it.
