Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs

Well it’s been a minute since I have been on here, focusing more on my Instagram posts, but I’m starting off 2021 with some exciting posts here as well. Last week I had the opportunity to take the family to Orlando for a fun little getaway. I know traveling during Covid hasn’t really been on anyone’s minds lately, but with all the safety measures being taken we decided to give it a try. My family and I had the opportunity to stay at Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista. The hotel has gone through a 14 million dollar renovation and the property grounds were beautiful.

As I checked in there were hand sanitizing stations throughout the lobby with a staff who were really nice and accommodating.

Our room overlooked the garden/pool area, which isn’t a bad way to wake up every morning. The room was super clean and has a contemporary vibe. One of my favorites things about it was the wall unit. Everything was hidden: from the refrigerator and coffeemaker to the safe. Under the wall unit there were cubby areas to store away shoes and bags, like a bureau, but completely concealed. This gives you so much room to walk around especially if you’re there with kids. The room we stayed in had 2 comfortable double beds giving us a perfect night sleep before heading to the parks.

Next we ventured over to the pool area to enjoy some lunch at the new restaurant called Oasis.

We ordered some delicious fish tacos, Reef salad, Thai and Buffalo wings. The food was on point. The chicken wings were crispy and perfectly cooked. Talk about finger licking good. We also ordered some refreshing cocktails: I had a mango sunrise cocktail (which was out of this world delicious) and the hubby had a watermelon mojito (very refreshing).

I could have stayed by the pool all day. We even had our own cabana, and it was just warm enough for the kids to take a dip in the pool after lunch.

The pool was heated so it was enjoyable. Kids of all ages love the newly re-imagined Oasis Aquatic Pool Playground. It’s an exciting focal point of this family-friendly resort featuring two pools, interactive water features, and a large hot tub. While they were playing, mom and dad got to take in the views of the property and enjoy the Florida sun.

Wyndham Garden is an official Walt Disney World Hotel, giving you access to all the Disney parks, which are only a 10 minute drive down the road.

Some additional features: Joffrey’s Coffee shop located in the lobby is open for breakfast daily and serves coffee, tea, an assortment of pastries and mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches.  The Sundial Café, also located in the lobby, offers an assortment of grab ‘n go snacks and beverages. Additional amenities include a business center, state of the art fitness center, sand volleyball court, basketball court and a game room

Another plus for staying at the Wyndham Garden is that we were only a few steps away from Disney Springs. This area has shopping, dining and entertainment, featuring more than 150 venues. It’s perfect for a fun family day or night out. Before entering Disney Springs area masks are required, temperatures were checked and social distancing was in place. This gives you another sense of feeling safe while enjoying yourself. Wyndham always has great offers on planning your next stay. It’s a price you can’t beat for staying on a Disney World property.

All in all we can’t wait to go back and visit.
