Planning a trip to Disney World can be exciting and all so stressful. With all of the resorts and theme parks there are so many choices.
When the opportunity was presented to me to stay at Lake Buena Vista Village Resort and Spa I did a little research. I found that this would be the perfect resort to take my family. It was our kids’ first trip on a plane and to Disney.
Upon arrival at the resort I was excited to see a mall attached to the resort. It had everything from clothes to food, and was convenient to have that right there.

While we waited for our room we decided to explore the property. The resort has 2 beautiful pools; the most popular of course with my kids was the pirate ship pool. It has a huge ship right in the middle of the pool with a slide. The kids loved it, and there’s a bar and café right there for the adults as well. There is also a spa for relaxation, which I didn’t get a chance to visit but I’ll be excited to on a return visit.
Now let’s head to the most important part, the suite. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for families. It’s a very spacious place. The kids had their own room with 2 double beds, TV and their own bathroom. There was a full kitchen, which in my case I loved. It was great for cooking breakfast before heading to the theme parks. A beautiful living room led out onto a spacious balcony overlooking the pirate ship pool. The master bedroom was perfect with a jacuzzi, standup shower, 2 sinks, a private toilet and TV.
The following day we headed out early to Magic Kingdom. That afternoon we decided to take a break and come back to our rooms to relax; until we headed back out to Hollywood Studios. The theme parks are close to the resort, which makes it perfect with little ones.
All in all I give this resort a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. For more information or to book your vacation visit http://www.lbvorlandoresort.com/
