The Kimberly Hotel Review

This past weekend I had the pleasure and honor of attending New York City Wine and Food Festival.  We stayed overnight at The Kimberly hotel in Midtown Manhattan.  I have to start by saying that the location was perfectly close to everything that was needed.  Upon entering the hotel the staff was very friendly with checking in.  The hotel is going through construction, but the staff made it aware to everyone that was checking in.  The maintenance going on along the street is a must by the City of New York.  We stayed on the 8th floor in a one bed room suite and it was like having your own little apartment in NYC with all the amenities needed.  We even had a dishwasher.  The room was very spacious too.  The comfy robes and slippers were an extra plus.  The best part I would have to say about the hotel wasn’t just the amazing view from our room but the beds. It was like you were laying on a comfy cloud.  The linens, furniture, and bathroom were super clean.  After a day of walking around NYC all you want is a comfortable bed to lay on.

Later that night after one of the festivals we attended, we headed back to the hotel and decided to head upstairs. The rooftop area was amazing with delicious food and beverages.  The view of the Chrysler building was outstanding as well.  With heaters on the rooftop you were sure to stay nice and warm on a fall night.  The next day after we checked out the hotel was nice enough to check in our bags so we could attend another event without having to lug around our luggage. I will definitely be coming back to The Kimberly Hotel in the future.

  1. It does look spacious for a mid-town hotel!
