It’s that time of year again where you have to pack your picnic basket, and head to the most elegant party in Philly, Diner en Blanc. The question is what to bring? Well I have a delicious recipe for you. It’s something easy, but it will look fabulous on a white table. Here are my suggestions of an appetizer, main course, and dessert; with a wine pairing.
Remember there is still time to register for the waiting list. This is a “not-to” miss party in Philadelphia. For more information visit http://philadelphia.dinerenblanc.info/

Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive
1 Small to Medium Onion, diced
1 Tablespoon of dried Parsley

Preheat oven to 350F. Place everything in a big bowl and mix. Place into 9″ inch baking pie dish and bake for about 35 minutes. You want a nice golden crust on top. Enjoy with a nice crisp salad.
Picnic Basket Ideas: Top Left: Passion Fruit Mousse, Bottom Left:
Red Lentil Burger, Top Right: Steak w/Gnocchi, Bottom Right: Guacamole Egg
