Taste of the Nation is one of my favorite events. This event brings out the best in what this City has to offer from Chefs, Mixologists, and foodies. We all gather together here to stop childhood hunger. So many children suffer from hunger and it affects them in every way. No child should be without food and it’s important for people to find out more about No Kid Hungry. This organization helps educate and raise awareness.
This event took place in the beautiful Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia, Pa. I had the pleasure of enjoying the VIP hour with friends. The food as always is outstanding. There were some delicious cocktails that were a hit as well; Also a silent auction which made it fun for guests to bid on some amazing things.
It was nice to see Marc Summers, a huge supporter of No Kid Hungry, and a couple other local celebrities working together on this cause. All of this amazing food that we were enjoying, made me stop and think of all these kids. Last year Taste of the nation in Philadelphia, Pa raised 40,000 dollars.
I really hope people will take the time to learn more about this cause and to attend a Taste of the Nation near you.
