I really love having smoothies. Nothing beats making them at home. You know what you’re putting in them and how well your fruits and veggies are washed, you also know where they are purchased; whether Organic, from the Supermarket or from a Farmers Market. I wanted something not too filling but with lots of flavor, and packed with nutrients to help your body feel good. I hope you enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Blueberries
1 Cup of Blackberries
2 Kiwis
1 Pear
2 Cups of Almond Milk Vanilla Flavor (optional on flavor, I choose this because I didn’t want to add any any other flavoring since this already has the vanilla hints in it)
2 Tablespoons of Wheat Germ (optional, as this will give it some additional texture that some may prefer to not have)
Preparation:
Chop everything up and place it in the blender, add Almond milk and wheat germ and blend. I also added 2 ice cubes to make it nice and cold. For garnish I used a slice of kiwi.
Gah! This looks so askljlskdjf delicious.

I was browsing the Internet in search of my next adventure and good eats, when I got distracted. I get distracted often. Anyhow I was intrigued by this Berry & Kiwi smoothie. The recipe calls for ingredients that are all most likely in your fridge already. The instructions are easy to follow. It’s the perfect recipe for the college student or individual on the go. A big plus of this recipe it that it’s healthy! So if you haven’t been able to hit the gym as often as you would like. No worries. You can still eat delicious food.
Thanks for the reblog 😉 glad you enjoyed it
This looks awesome and I totally agree making things at home is the best. This is why I make my own granola and I even have made my own soy milk before. Love your recipe and photo, stop by and say hi 🙂
Thanks! Glad you stopped by 😉
