Another great event that I am truly honored to attend is the StarChefs.com Gala, which will be held at The Kimmel Center for performing arts.  StarChefs.com is an award-winning online magazine for the culinary world. Helping new comers and chefs that have been in the business.   StarChefs.com is holding its gala on February 21, 2013 to announce its Rising Stars award. The winners will be showcased at the gala.  This walk around tasting will give the diners the time to try out Philadelphia’s Top Restaurants, sample beverage pairings and cocktails with winning mixologist. Awards will go to Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Artisans, Restaurateurs, Mixologists, Brewer and more.

It’s an exciting night for a new generation of culinary masters to step up and get their rewards.  A portion of the evenings ticket sales will benefit Philabundance.  This organization works with neighborhood distribution programs to distribute 21 million pounds of food per year, and close to 65,000 people per week benefit for just 50 cents a meal. A great organization here in Philadelphia, PA that helps people and families in need.
