Molly’s Cupcakes in NYC

I was in New York City a couple of weeks ago and headed back home to Philly when I passed by Molly’s.  I turned around and decided I wanted to pick up some cupcakes for my little family.  So the one thing I noticed on their window was they were season finale winners of Cupcake Wars on Food Network, which is an awesome show.  As I entered, the smell was divine.  The variety of cupcakes makes it hard to decide; So, I asked the girl behind the counter to help me choose.  She was super sweet and could see I had a hard time choosing (hahha).  I got one each of their Cake Batter, Ron Bennington, Berry fruit and Lemon Meringue.  I only picked up 4 because I didn’t want to take a big package with me on the train, but all I can say is I wish I had picked up more.  When I got home I cut them all in half and my family and I decided to try them, one word WOWWWW!!!  I have never had cupcakes like this, they were seriously the BEST cupcakes I have ever had.  The cupcakes are injected with flavors so when you bite into them the filling just flows into your mouth.  My husband who is not a huge sweets fan fell in LOVE.  The icing is not overbearingly sweet.  I wanted to lick the plate when it was done.  So if you’re ever in New York its a must try place.  The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and what more can I say about their AMAZING cupcakes.  Now I know why they won Cupcake Wars. One of the other things I noticed too that caught my eye was that they can make cakes for pre ordering.  Visit their website at http://www.mollyscupcakes.com
