Bolla Sangiovese di Romagna offers spicy, ripe-raspberry, plum and black cherry flavors. Pairs well with beef, pork, veal, lamb, chicken, pasta with red sauce, spicy foods and hard cheeses. Its one of my favorite Bolla wines. It’s slightly on the dry side, but not too overpowering. The aroma reminds me of an autumn afternoon in front of a fireplace. I give this wine a 7 out of 10.
You sound like my go-to gal on where to buy a good bottle of red wine. Any 9s or 10s out there?? I’m new to the world of reds but I am in love…
Thanks for following me ; )….I hope I can help you along the way with some amazing wines… There are tons of wines that are affordable and in the 9 or 10 range, but it all depends on your taste as well (do you prefer sweet, semi sweet or dry reds??)
